so do you know the hidden secret in your vitamin? Are you taking a vitamin and really don't know ALL the benefits that it really has? Well this happened to me. I started taking Biotin back in Oct of 2009. I'm a member off a hair site called KISS, and alota ladies on there takes Biotin to help with their hair growth. So i decided to take it to help me with my journey of healthy, longer, and thicker hair. Did it help? YES!! So whats the secret in this vitamin that i have been taking besides helping my hair and nails? WEIGHT LOST, um yes its true, i have notice some weight lost with this, and a balance of my weight. Now i eat, and i eat goooood hahaha, but i notice with taking this, it has helped to balance me out, like i haven't gained anything from my bad habits. I couldn't figure out why because i wasn't exercising but yet i wasn't gained no weight when i knew that should... so let me give you some info on the research i found online about this little vitamin lol..
Biotin::: is a B vitamin that is needed for the formation of fatty acids and glucose, which are essential for the production of Energy. It also HELPS WITH THE METABOLISM OF CARBS, FATS, AND PROTEINS!!!!
so it really helps with speeding up your metabolism, helps the protein in your hair...this is a wonderful vitamin.
Down Fall::: it can cause break outs... =-(
this has helped me with losing weight and balancing me out, it has also helped in the growth of my hair and made my nails even more stronger, sadly it does cause me to break out, i never use to break out, but starting this, i have, its not bad, and for me, I'm okay with it..my pros outweighed my cons. so i will continue to keep this in my health regimen.
i currently take one a day, 3000 MCG's, i did consult my Dr before use of course and if you are pregnant or nursing, please ask your DR before you take this or any other vitamin.
