The Meaning Behind My Blog Name?

hey beauties and a special shout out to GlamourLicious, she did a blog post on this a few days ago, so check it out, and of course i asked if she would mind me using her idea on this post lol, she didn't mind at all...=-) so thank you girl.

The Meaning Behind PureBeauty:::

When i started this blog, i wanted it to be based on Beauty, not the outside beauty, because every woman is Beautiful but within...So many women lack this part of Beauty, and its the most important form of Beauty, its how the world looks at you and how you feel about your self. PureBeauty is learning to Love yourself as you are, not comparing yourself to others like friends, family, celebrities, nobody. Women should never compare themselves, but learn to accept how God made you and be proud. Its to love yourself as you are, Flaws and All. Everyone has flaws rather you see it or not, we all battle something. And to say we dont would be a lie. You have to learn how to Love Your Flaws, yes love, because if you dont, you will never be happy. I use to hate the gap between my teeth, alot, since grade school once i figured out what it was. I battled with it growing up, it was something i was ashamed of. I couldn't understand how guys would still think i was pretty, im like are you serious. But i learned this is who i am, im Beautiful how God made me, he wanted me to have this gap and i should be happy. Other people still found me beautiful, i never had any problems in that area, but it was an inner battle for me. I even consider getting Veneers, but honestly i think im not, because i really dont have a problem with my gap like that anymore. And like my husband told me, "why change who you are, you are beautiful as you are"...his words, his actions, and his love for me, helps it all... I accept my "flaw". It could be hard for woman to accept their flaws, but it takes time.

So thats how i came up with the name PureBeauty. Once you feel beautiful on the inside and will greatly shine through the outside, and then you can enhance your beauty. And thats when the fun begins, lol. like i always say, its fun being a girl!

11 Tips to Becoming More Classy...

Hey Beauties,

So i came across an interesting article online that many could prob debate....how to be classy with or without money. Some or maybe most woman think they are classy but to most they are not. What matters most to you, knowing or feeling You ARE classy or others Thinking YOU ARE NOT? hmmm...

Lets read on...

"You don't have to be well dressed or have alot of money to come off being classy. Being classy comes from within, its your actions, your reactions, facial expressions, ability to take a compliment, decline an invite, and OVERALL how you carry Yourself in Life!!!"

Tips How to Be Classy...or in my Words, Tips on How to Be MORE Classy...

I think we are all classy but its few out there who just are not classy at all, i think we can be classy at times and other moment be not so classy...so for one to say or think they are classy all the time, i find that hard to believe...what do you think?

1. Smile: this creates a more pleasant environment for the people around you and puts you in a better spirit, no matter what life throws at you.

2. Learn how to take a compliment,Too many woman shrug of comments either on their accomplishments, beauty, wardrobe, home and the list goes on. They do this with "Its a no big deal" attitude. So smile and say thank you and just feel good about yourself.

3. Nobody likes a fishwife, meaning a fishwife is the woman who yells for her husband for dinner, screams at her kids and rants until everything and everyone is in order. This is so unappealing. Replace this with softness and grace. I'm not suggesting you fake who you are but simply move in a direction of that exudes class and respect for those around you.

4. Be polite when answering the phone. If you are having a bad day, let the machine get it.

5. Profanity is a NO-NO! (now i know i curse alot, but i will be trying to stop, don't want my children picking this bad habit up) Classy woman do not swear, no matter how heated you are don't lose yourself and cuss. This also goes for calling your self a B**ch, not cute. You should look at yourself than more than a B**ch, You should consider Yourself A BEAUTIFUL CLASSY WOMAN.

6. Don't get drunk, this makes you look trashy esp if you are starting to look out of order, (we all had our moments, lets not lie lol, i know i have lol)

7. Your Wardrobe Matters! You don't have to have alot of money to dress classy. Always wear clean clothes with no threads hanging out, stains, rips or fading. Instead put together an outfit that you know looks good and throw on a few basics like your lipstick , mascara. I also think this matters in your pictures that you post on the Internet, its not classy posting half naked pictures online, i mean do you really want your children to see that years to come and people to look at you in shame?

8. Speak Eloquently, there is no need to speak in slang. (haha, i do this sometimes, not going to lie) You were given a brain and an education, let it show.

9. Turing down a request. There is nothing wrong with taking time for yourself, just be sure to express it in the right way.

10. Walk Proudly, whether you are leaving or entering a room, hold your head up high, shoulders back, lengthen your spine and suck your tummy in. Gracefully walk to your destination always with purpose. Show yourself Strong, Confident and Proud. You will be surprised how much better you will feel about yourself and how many heads will turn.

11. Nail your Nails. There is nothing worse than seeing someones dirty fingernails. It says alot about someones hygiene and personal health and how much they care about themselves. Classy woman are not dirty!

So Beauties this is what i found and what i decided to share with you. I believe i am classy on how i carry myself, now there are certain things i could work on. I'm not perfect, and don't claim to be. I'm me...PureBeauty =-)

MakeUp Tip...Eyeliner, make it last

hey beauties, so i cant sleep and I'm up super early, my son stayed the night at his abuellas house, and I'm missing him. I ALWAYS do this every time he stays the night at one of his grandmothers houses lol...you would think ill be under the covers passed out, but nope lol. I think i may even do a YouTube video since my baby girl is sleeping...maybe.



I'm just sitting here thinking...damn it feels good to INSPIRE other people ;-)



OK so here's a makeup tip, most may know, but its kind of new to me...



don't you hate how your eyeliner washes aways after a few hours? I know i do, so something simple to make it last if you don't want to use waterproof, you can set it with eyeshadow, take an eyeshadow liner brush, i like sephora, and line it with black eyeshadow (if that's the color you are wearing) and BAM you are set lol.

So we all know the nude lip is in, it's a sexy/classy shade that we all can rock. You can play it up or play it down, wear it during the day or for a night out. Either way... You can Rock it anytime:-)

I have alot of different nude shades in my makeup case lol... But i'm still on the look out for my perfect shade... And I found a trick out... Wanna know?

So, if you have some concealer, some lip balm, and some lipgloss on you... You just found yourself some nude lipstick for you puckers lol!!! All you have to do is apply a little bit of concealer to you lips, lipbalm first, my bad lol, then apply your choice of gloss over it... And there you go... Your very own, perfect shade of Nude LipStick !!!

Beauty Tip::: The Hidden Secret in Biotin...

so do you know the hidden secret in your vitamin? Are you taking a vitamin and really don't know ALL the benefits that it really has? Well this happened to me. I started taking Biotin back in Oct of 2009. I'm a member off a hair site called KISS, and alota ladies on there takes Biotin to help with their hair growth. So i decided to take it to help me with my journey of healthy, longer, and thicker hair. Did it help? YES!! So whats the secret in this vitamin that i have been taking besides helping my hair and nails? WEIGHT LOST, um yes its true, i have notice some weight lost with this, and a balance of my weight. Now i eat, and i eat goooood hahaha, but i notice with taking this, it has helped to balance me out, like i haven't gained anything from my bad habits. I couldn't figure out why because i wasn't exercising but yet i wasn't gained no weight when i knew that should... so let me give you some info on the research i found online about this little vitamin lol..

Biotin::: is a B vitamin that is needed for the formation of fatty acids and glucose, which are essential for the production of Energy. It also HELPS WITH THE METABOLISM OF CARBS, FATS, AND PROTEINS!!!!

so it really helps with speeding up your metabolism, helps the protein in your hair...this is a wonderful vitamin.

Down Fall::: it can cause break outs... =-(

this has helped me with losing weight and balancing me out, it has also helped in the growth of my hair and made my nails even more stronger, sadly it does cause me to break out, i never use to break out, but starting this, i have, its not bad, and for me, I'm okay with it..my pros outweighed my cons. so i will continue to keep this in my health regimen.

i currently take one a day, 3000 MCG's, i did consult my Dr before use of course and if you are pregnant or nursing, please ask your DR before you take this or any other vitamin.

AbRocket...here i come!!

Heeeey Beauties!!

so today is monday...the beg' of the week for ME! so i woke and i said to myself...time to stop being lazy...work out and work out hard...my excuse has always been i dont have the time, i mean i do have two kinds under 2..they are a handful, a good handful though. But i just need to find some time to work out on my body. Im not trying to lose weight, im happy with my size, im 135lbs and im 5'6. Not bad, right. But having two babies, and 2 c-sections, i need to tone up. So im going to start using my AbRocket ive been having since the beg of this year, its just been sitting in my office downstairs looking at me lol.

Now if it was up to me, well it is, but its dangerous and my husband does not want me to do it, i would get a Mini Tummy Tuck, i just have that little area at the bottom of my tummy from the babies and the csections...the top of my tummy is flat..i just hate the lil area..egh lol. But im not going to get it, too dangerous and hearing how Kanye's mother died doing it, and Ushers exwife having problems doing hers... i think i just need to stay away from it all together. This is what happens when you have children, your body isnt like before but we can do everything we can to improve it, right?

So today will start day 1... lets hope i stick to it, imma try. I will do 100 crunches a day, divide it up to 50 in the morning and 50 at night if ihave to. I will post updates every 2 weeks for the next 3 months..omg this sounds so hard lol.

I will limit my sugar intake meaning juices, pops, junk food, fried foods, all that bad stuff, this contributes to belly fat. I will also be increasing how much water i drink as well and add fruits to my diet to help with the sugar crave i always seem to have. Again i am not trying to lose weight, but im sure i will with working out and watching what i eat, i just really want to tone my tummy up. And have that sexy flat tummy i had before i had babies lol.

The Storm is Over Now

hey Beauties..

so i wanted to share this video with you. i remember i use to always ALWAYS listen to kirk franklin cd when i was younger... i remember sitting in my room and listening to the whole cd and just really praising him...the comfort you have with the Lord when you praise him, when you recognize him...its just such a good, beautiful, strong feeling. With God you can make it through anything....through everything. The devil will always try to creep up on you..he wants to knock you down..he comes in ALL forms. Trust in the Lord..trust in his word...stay with him, dont fade away into the world..which is easy to do...when you fade away...you leave a wide hole for the devil to walk into your life. Forgive Others as you would want God to forgive YOU...easier said then done...but you have to. People will always hurt you...God wont.. so keep him first. And remember you can forgive those that have hurt you just like how God forgives you....keep your eyes open and recognize the devil and keep ignorant people away from you, and pray for them.
